Course Audience and Objective:

This seminar introduces fundamental concepts underlying interactive, three-dimensional systems and software. The intent is to provide a conceptual framework for end-users at the beginning of their involvement with 3-D graphics, in order to facilitate their understanding of new concepts and techniques as their involvement with graphics continues. The focus is on geometry representation and transformations. Shading models, lights and rendering are discussed in Graphics Short Course III: 3-D Color and Rendering.
